Henfwlch MineHenfwlch Mine was worked from the early 17th century to the end of the 18th Century. The main production was lead ore, but it also yielded some zinc and copper ore as well. In later years the mine was worked in conjunction with the nearby Hafan mine and there is some speculation that the two may have connected in the past.
There is little evidence for lead underground, but there is extensive
copper staining. The nearby spoil tips contain some unusual minerals
which are of geological interest.
